Module Description
In Fundamentals of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, we approached psychedelic-assisted therapy from the perspective of a health professional wanting to support and guide clients through Preparation, Medicine, and Integration Sessions. In the Experiential Period of this course, you will be participating in Preparation, Medicine, and Integration Sessions in a way that aims to give you a sense of what a client's experience may be like with psychedelic-assisted therapy. As a result, this pre-work module will focus on reviewing key topics learned through the courses you’ve taken with Numinus thus far in order to maximize your own experience. You should complete this pre-work module prior to commencing the clinical component of the Experiential Period.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Map psychedelic-assisted therapy onto Kolb’s experiential learning model.
- Demonstrate preparedness to undergo psychedelic-assisted therapy as a participant for the purposes of training and personal development.
- Describe the components of Preparation, Medicine, and Integration Sessions that are relevant to this experience.
- Reflect on how personal experiences with this process and psychedelic medicines can better prepare you to support clients in the future.

During the Experiential Period Pre-Work, there will be opportunities for reflection for you to add to your Experiential Period Preparation Worksheet. Please ensure that you have downloaded it before proceeding.
