Submitting Assignments

Depending on the course you've registered for, you may be required to complete and submit assignments. This page will provide some helpful tips to prepare you to submit your upcoming assignments.

Assignment File Types

When you submit an assignment, you can either upload a file or provide a link to an external video.

Upload a File

We recommend using this option for all assignments as it is the easiest method of uploading an assignment. You can upload a document like a .docx or .pdf or you can upload any multimedia file like a video (.mov, .mp4, etc.). If you're uploading a video, you would need to record the video before hand.

Note: the maximum file size for an assignment is 40 MB. If your video is larger than this, it is recommended to upload the video to YouTube (see below).

Upload Video to YouTube

You can also record the video separately and upload it directly to YouTube. To upload it to YouTube, you will need an account on YouTube (which is quick and free to setup). Watch How to Upload Unlisted Videos to YouTube for instructions on how to upload the video.

Once uploaded, copy the link, paste it in Docebo, and submit.

Note: the maximum file size on YouTube is very high so you will not run into any upload issues in terms of file size. Although the video is unlisted, anyone who has a link is able to view the video. So please keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to upload to YouTube and the type of content you're discussing.

Next Steps

On the next page, you will complete a disclaimer. Once you complete that, you can return to your learning plan and proceed with the next module in your course.
