Module Description
In this introductory module, we learned about some foundational concepts of neurobiology including key neurotransmitters and neuroplasticity. We also learned some foundational concepts of pharmacology including understanding the difference between pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Finally, we learned about the main differences between the psychedelic medicines commonly used for psychedelic-assisted therapy, including ketamine, MDMA, and psilocybin.
