Welcome to the Course

Welcome to the Course

We are so glad you are here.

We understand and appreciate that times are busy and prioritizing mental health is more important than ever. Thank you for choosing to take this journey with us as we bring together like-minded professionals who are deeply committed to alleviating suffering and promote wellbeing in the world.

This course will begin by outlining the Numinus approach to care in providing psychedelic therapy (such as ketamine treatments) and psychedelic-assisted therapy (which includes psychotherapy). This course will then bring us on a journey through the effects ellicited by ketamine on the body and mind. Finally, we will wrap up the course by including some specific considerations for nurses and medical assistants. The content developed for this course adheres to best practices and recommendations derived from evidence-based research, accredited educational programs in psychedelic-assisted therapy, and commitments to social justice, equity, dignity, and inclusion (JEDI), anti-racism, cultural safety, and the lifelong practice of humility.
