As we learned earlier in the course, psychedelic-assisted therapy in a clinical context is fairly new, having only been heavily studied since the mid 20th century. As psychedelic medicines continue to be legally and scientifically recognized for their therapeutic potential, we need more health professionals trained in this modality to support clients who are seeking out these services. There are many potential pathways to becoming a psychedelic-assisted therapist.
