Welcome to the Course

Welcome to the Course

Welcome to our workshop on embodied inquiry, a new methodology for for psychedelic-assisted therapy! This course will help you to strength your inquiry skills as a professional while also providing opportunities for personal development as you practice embodied inquiry as a facilitator and a participant.

This workshop aims to introduce you to embodied inquiry, a modality derived from mindfulness-based interventions and other process-based and somatic therapies. Inquiry requires the use of mindfulness both personally and professionally, an emphasis on a present moment orientation and awareness of sensory experience. It relies on supporting the client’s capacity to attend to what is salient in present moment experience, investigating whatever is arising with curiosity and a non-judgmental attitude.

Through the course, you must also attend to your own experience, working to drop your own biases and interpretations, intervening minimally, and leading by following the client. Inquiry helps the client to stay open, focused, and in contact with their intentions and values, helping to optimize the psychedelic experience.
