Inquiry and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

In the final session of the course, we will be looking at how inquiry can be applied to psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Live session 3 will primarily be focused on practical applications by allowing you to work through three cases. Each case will focus on a phase of psychedelic-assisted therapy: the Preparation, Medicine, or Integration Session.

Case Work

In preparation for live session 3, read the cases and ensure that you are prepared to role play them as needed. You will be in the same small group for the duration of the case work and will rotate roles through each case – client, therapist, observer. This will ensure that each of you get to experience the inquiry process as a client in one case, a therapist in one case, and an observer in one case.

Note

The observer role is important for developing a meta-view of the process and for providing feedback to the other group members. It’s important to actively listen and be prepared to provide valuable feedback and observations to your group members.
