Session 2 Pre-Work
In live session 2, we will be discussing primary and secondary consciousness and how we use Embodied Inquiry to enhance attention to primary consciousness and work somatically with trauma during psychedelic-assisted therapy.
This case study provides an in-depth examination of the theory that is foundational to Somatic Experiencing interwoven with the presentation of a client who undergoes treatment with this modality. Please focus your attention to both somatic experiencing and trauma resolution in the study.
Given that this workshop is focused on Embodied Inquiry please read pages 8-15 of the downloadable version of the article. Should you wish to read the entire article, it is valuable however it goes beyond the scope of this course.
