This assignment will evaluate the following module-level learning outcomes:
Describe the unique vulnerabilities of clients participating in psychedelic-assisted therapy and cultivate the awareness and practices necessary to meet these vulnerabilities safely and ethically.
Describe the Numinus guiding principles within the context of integrative and transformative mental wellness as they relate to psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Review the Numinus care model, including the seven guiding principles, integrative and transformative mental wellness, and ethics as well as the introduction on inquiry.
Write a brief paragraph setting an intention for your learning. Consider answering the following questions:
Why were you personally or professionally motivated to register for this course or program?
What are you hoping to gain from the course?
In what direction are you hoping to grow personally and professionally?
Which of the seven guiding principles do you need to work harder to embody?
Write a personal mission statement (maximum three sentences) which describes your personal mission for facilitating psychedelic-assisted therapy in the future. Use aspects of the Numinus care model to help you structure your mission statement.
Submit your intention setting paragraph and mission statement to the assignment dropbox on our platform.
Keep a copy of your mission statement and intention. You can always tweak and edit what you have written any time as you continue to learn about psychedelic-assisted therapy.
You will be graded on the following criteria:
Completeness (did you follow all instructions?)
Application (did you draw on components of the Numinus care model in your mission and intention?)
Reflection (does your mission and intention demonstrate a high level of reflection?)
